Donnie Darko is one of Kelsey's all-time faves from her youth, but does it hold up? And should you watch the Theatrical or Director's Cut?

The Modern Film: Coherence (2013)
"Strange things begin to happen when a group of friends gather for a dinner party on an evening when a comet is passing overhead” (IMDb.com). Filmed in the director's house on a micro-budget of $50,000, Coherence shows you can still do big things if you have the right big idea.

The Classic Film: Alien 3 (1992)

Alien 3 may have been an absolute mess of a production—so much so that David Fincher disowned it entirely—but it may not be as bad as you've been led to believe.

The Modern Film: Life (2017)
"A team of scientists aboard the International Space Station discovers a rapidly evolving life form that caused extinction on Mars and now threatens all life on Earth” (Sony Pictures). This movie has more than what it takes to be a banger—great actors, terrifying thrills, and a clean premise—too bad it all rests on an infuriating script.

It's Serial Killer Week on Pod Sematary! Entirely by chance, it's also David Fincher Week, which has Chris excited because Fincher is one of his all-time favorite directors. First up is 1995's se7en, where you can hear Chris express his love for Brad Pitt (who is as an angel). Then it's on to 2007's based-on-a-true-story Zodiac, where Kelsey admits she might just die if she were in the same situation. We've got some absolute bangers this week, folks!
