One classic. One modern. All horror.

One couple talking about old and new horror movies, because of course.

It’s Easter Week on Pod Sematary! Chris & Kelsey paint some Crite eggs and get lost in the labyrinth at their summer home!

The Classic Film: Critters 2 (1988)
"Eggs of the small, furry alien carnivores are left behind on Earth and, after hatching, again set their appetites on the town of Grover's Bend” (IMDb.com). Wackier than the original, this sequel has some bright moments, but otherwise doesn't really need to exist (other than to get us closer to Leonardo DiCaprio in Part 3!).

The Modern Film: Atrocious (2010)
"Two teenage siblings endure a terrifying experience while investigating a rural legend near their family's vacation home” (IMDb.com). This Spanish-language indie horror is about as impactful as it is long, but we aren't necessarily complaining.

It’s a Creature Feature Week on Pod Sematary! Chris & Kelsey watch some flicks about little animals terrorizing humanity. Thanks for the recommendations, Lou and Wes! Plus, we talk about the new Candyman trailer!

The Classic Film: Critters (1986)
"A group of small, furry aliens makes lunch out of the locals in a farming town” (IMDb.com). Almost completely harmless and a little charming, we all know we're just watching this one to get to Leo in part 3.

The Modern Film: The Bay (2012)
"Chaos breaks out in a small Maryland town after an ecological disaster occurs” (IMDb.com). What could have been bog-standard found-footage terror, Barry Levinson's eco-horror surprised us with some clever twists on a tired presentation.

"The Bay" produced by Automatik Entertainment, et al.
"Candyman" (2020) produced by Monkeypaw Productions, et al.
